We are proud to announce the installation of the first Life Ring station. This is a milestone for Arunay Foundation and we won't have reached here without your support.
We would be delighted if you could join us for the unveiling of the Life Ring station on Nov 10, 2021 at Pillar Point Harbor, Half Moon Bay at 10:30 AM.
These Life Ring Buoy stations will help beachgoers and first responders to assist people who are swept into the ocean and keep our community and visitors safe on beaches. It is the first step towards providing people with the tools and knowledge they need to create a safe beach-going experience.
We are thankful for San Mateo Harbor District’s pioneering role in installing the Life Ring Buoy stations and deeply honored by SeaValor’s sponsorship of this project.
Having lost our 12 year old son Arunay to a sneaker wave in Jan 2021, we want to channel our grief towards making a positive impact and spare other families the pain of losing a loved one. We want to collaborate with other coastal counties to install these Life Ring stations on all California beaches.
